Scholarships

Where can I find scholarships?

Scholarships are awarded either:

Check your college's website for available scholarships.  Many application deadlines to be considered for scholarships are much earlier than the regular admissions deadline.

Check the Scholarship Bulletin often, as new outside scholarships are added daily.

Create a Professional Email

If you do not have an email address, it is recommended that you create one.  You can do this for free on many sites such as gmail, hotmail, or yahoo

Be sure to create a professional email address for things such as scholarships and college applications.  An email that is acceptable for chatting with friends may not be acceptable for applying to scholarships.  A good example is sherry.wells@gmail.com, while a bad example is Hotmama123@yahoo.com.

FastWeb

You can begin your search now by creating an account on FastWeb to recieve scholarship information via email.  FastWeb is an internet service that customizes your search for scholarships by the information you provide them.
